Michigan Treasury Issues Updated Notice Automatically Extending Individual Income Tax Annual Filing, Payment Deadline

The Michigan Department of Treasury April 28 issued an updated notice automatically extending the individual income tax filing deadline to May 17 from April 15 for individual and composite filers. The updated notice is the same in all regards except that the basis for the extension is now codified by new state law.
