Michigan Treasury Publishes 2023 Income, Sales Tax Withholding Forms

The Michigan Department of Treasury Oct. 1 published 2023 withholding tax forms for corporate income, individual income, and sales and use tax purposes. The treasury includes that: 1) taxpayers who received a letter of inquiry for the 2022 annual return must visit the treasury’s online portal to file or access the 2022 Sales, Use, and Withholding Tax Annual Return fillable form; and 2) a taxpayer must enter the federal tax identification number of the business in the appropriate field and forms and press the “Reset Form” button after printing the completed form to clear their data for security purposes.
