Mississippi Amends Health Care Zone Act, Extends Sales Tax Exemption to 2028

The Mississippi Governor signed a law amending the Health Care Industry Zone Act to extend its sunset date from July 1, 2026, to July 1, 2028. The law also extends the sales tax exemption for materials used in the construction of health care industry facilities through July 1, 2028. The law takes effect July 1.
