Mississippi Authorizes Vaiden’s 2 Percent Restaurant Tax

The Mississippi Governor signed a law authorizing the Town of Vaiden to levy a 2 percent tax on restaurant sales to fund tourism promotion, parks and recreation. The law takes effect immediately and repeals on July 1, 2030. [S.B. 3392, enacted 04/08/26]
