The Mississippi Governor signed a law extending the deadline for counties and municipalities to authorize ad valorem tax exemptions for certain energy projects to July 1, 2030. This extension also applies to entering fee-in-lieu agreements with qualified businesses. The law will take effect July 1. [S.B. 2824, enacted 03/25/26]
