The Missouri Department of Revenue March 1 announced that the 2023 back-to-school sales tax holiday begins on Aug. 4 and runs through Aug. 6. Certain back-to-school purchases, such as clothing, school supplies, computers, and other items as defined by the statute, are exempt from the sales and use tax for this time period only. [Mo.
