The Missouri Department of Revenue (DOR) June 1 announced the extension of payment and filing deadlines for individual income, corporate income, and trust income tax purposes in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The DOR announced that: 1) Missouri would be mirroring the IRS guidance and extend the income tax filing and payment deadlines to July 15 from April 15; 2) the filing deadline for partnership returns is also extended to July 15 from April 15; and 3) the DOR will automatically provide the relief, taxpayers don’t need to take any extra steps to qualify for it.
