Missouri DOR Releases 2021 Individual Income Tax Return Long Form MO-1040, Associated Forms, Instructions

The Missouri Department of Revenue (DOR) Jan. 16, 2021 released instructions for 2021 Individual Income Tax Return Long Form MO-1040 and associated 2021 forms. The DOR provides that taxpayers must file the state return no later than April 18. The instructions include information on: 1) completing a new W-4 form each year; 2) the electronic filing option for federal and state returns; 3) the procedure for filing for an extension of time to file; 4) ascertainment of state adjustable gross income, taxable income, payments, credits, and refunds; and 5) step-by-step instructions to complete the various related forms.
