Missouri DOR Releases Form MO-1040P, Individual Income Tax Return, Property Tax Credit Claim, Pension Exemption

The Missouri Department of Revenue Feb. 10 released Form MO-1040P, Individual Income Tax Return and Property Tax Credit Claim and Pension Exemption, and its instruction booklet. The booklet includes: 1) electronic filing options for federal and state e-file; 2) a diagram to help taxpayers determine if they or their spouse are eligible to claim the Circuit Breaker Property Tax Credit; 3) important filing information and information to complete Form MO-1040P; 4) information on calculations for pension and social security, social security disability, and military exemptions and itemized deductions; and 5) other related forms and the instructions to complete them.
