Missouri DOR Releases Revised Form for Sales Tax Project Exemption Certificate

The Missouri Department of Revenue Nov. 7 released a revised form for sales and use tax project exemption certificate for exempt entities. Taxpayers must complete and provide the certificate along with a copy of the exempt entity’s Missouri Sales and Use Tax Exemption Letter to each contractor or subcontractor who purchases tangible personal property for use in the project. Exempt entities: 1) are responsible to ensure the validity of the information contained in the certificate; and 2) must issue a new certificate if any of the information changes. [Mo.
