Missouri Tax Commission Partially Overturns Valuation of Taxpayer’s Vehicles

The Missouri State Tax Commission issued a decision finding that the taxpayer’s 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 was overvalued, but the 2007 BMW 6 Series was correctly assessed. The taxpayer appealed the St. Louis County Board of Equalization (BOE) valuations of the vehicles. The taxpayer provided evidence of body damage and delayed maintenance on the 2020 Sierra, which the Commission found persuasive in modifying the valuation to the rough condition value.
