Montana Governor Signs Law Exempting Certain Senior Care Facilities, Housing Development Projects From Property Taxes

The Montana Governor signed a law that temporarily exempts certain senior care facilities and housing development projects from property taxes. The exemption, which requires approval from local governments, will apply for up to 5 years beginning Jan. 1, following the approval, with the possibility of a 5-year renewal.
