N.J. Businesses Get Extension on Remote Work for Tax Breaks

New Jersey companies can continue to qualify for tax breaks even if their employees work remotely part-time, under a bill signed by Gov. Phil Murphy (D) Friday.

But the eased requirements will only last through March, meaning lawmakers will soon have to figure out whether lucrative tax incentives awarded by the state will continue to accommodate remote work arrangements.
