Nebraska DOR Announces Changes to Local Sales Tax Rate for Certain Counties

The Nebraska Department of Revenue (DOR) Sept. 10 announced changes to the local sales and use tax rates for certain counties, effective Oct. 1. The announcement includes the following new rates: 1) a 1 percent rate for Adams; 2) a new 1.5 percent rate for Grafton and Kenesaw; 3) 2 percent rate increase for Lyons; and 4) 1.5 percent rate increase for Mullen and Nelson.
