Nevada Tax Commission Proposes Amendment to Rules on Commerce Tax Exemption

The Nevada Tax Commission has proposed amendments to NAC 363C.210 regarding commerce tax exemptions. The proposed rules exempt taxpayers participating in exhibitions, trade shows, industry meetings, or similar business events in Nevada from the commerce tax if they participate as an organizer, manager, sponsor, or exhibitor, and if they do not engage in any other business activity in Nevada besides participation in such events.
