Nevada Tax Department Issues FAQs on Sales and Use Tax Holiday for Nevada National Guard

The Nevada Department of Taxation Sept. 1 issued Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on the Nevada Day Holiday for the Nevada National Guard for sales and use tax purposes. Effective July 1, the manner in which members of the Nevada National Guard or their relatives can claim the Nevada Day sales tax exemption is revised.
