New Jersey DOT Issues Information on Unitary Business Tax Filing Extension Online Requests

The New Jersey Division of Taxation (DOT) July 16 issued information on filing online an extension request to file a unitary corporate business tax return for managerial members of combined groups. The DOT provides that: 1) the managerial member entities must allow two business days after they receive their unitary ID numbers and PINs before filing the corporate income tax filing extension request; and 2) the entities must submit the extension request within five business days for consideration to file until Oct. 15.
