New Jersey Mansion Tax Refund Bid Filed Too Late, Judge Rules

A New Jersey couple can’t pursue an untimely action for a mansion tax refund even though they didn’t know the purchase price on their condo was under the $1 million threshold until after the deadline had passed, a state judge ruled.
