New Mexico AG Confirms Film Tax Credit Compliance with Anti-Donation Clause

The New Mexico Attorney General (AG) issued an opinion in response to an inquiry whether the tax credit provided under the Film Production Tax Credit Act is compliant with the Anti-Donation Clause of Article IX, Section 14 of the New Mexico Constitution. The AG concluded that the tax credit provided under the Film Production Tax Credit Act is compliant with the Anti-Donation Clause of the New Mexico Constitution.
