New Mexico Issues Reminder for 2022, 2023 Tax Rebate Deadlines

The New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department (TRD) May 22 issued a reminder for the deadlines to file a 2021 personal income tax return, to be eligible for 2022 and 2023 tax rebates. Taxpayers must file a personal income tax return by: 1) May 31, 2023, to be eligible to receive the rebate enacted in the 2022 special legislative session; 2) June 30, 2023, to be eligible to receive the rebate enacted in the 2022 regular legislative session; and 3) May 31, 2024, to be eligible to receive the rebate enacted in the 2023 regular legislative session.
