Oregon taxpayers with disputes involving a growing number of local income taxes must take them to the Oregon Tax Court, not general county courts, under a bill signed by Gov. Tina Kotek Tuesday.
The bill (H.B. 2576) had support from Oregon Business and Industry, a group that serves as the state’s chamber of commerce and is affiliated with the National Association of Manufacturers and the National Retail Federation.
