Legislation raising $1 billion in new revenue is headed to the desk of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, including a new tax on multinational corporations and a levy on individuals with investment income over $1 million.
A separate omnibus transportation bill headed to the governor generates additional revenue through higher taxes on fuel and a new fee on retail deliveries, making Minnesota only the second state with such a fee.
