New York Extends New Rochelle’s 1 Percent Sales Tax Through 2027

The New York Governor signed a law extending the authorization for the city of New Rochelle to impose an additional one percent sales and use tax to Dec. 31, 2027. This extension allows New Rochelle to continue collecting a total of four percent in local sales tax (one percent additional to the authorized three percent rate). [A.B. 7375, enacted 08/07/25]
