The New York Governor signed a law authorizing a retroactive real property tax exemption for Hicksville United Methodist Church, in the county of Nassau, for 2022 and 2023 general taxes, and 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 school taxes. The law took effect Sept. 20. [S.B. 9178, enacted 09/20/24]
