The New York Governor June 30 signed a law extending the expiration date for an individual income tax surcharge imposed by the city of Yonkers. The law includes measures: 1) extending the expiry of the city of Yonkers personal income tax surcharge to Sept. 30, 2025, from Sept. 30, 2023; and 2) applying the surcharge to tax years beginning before 2026.
