New York Tax and Finance Department Issues Bulletin on PrompTax Sales Tax Payment Reminder

The New York Department of Taxation and Finance May 22 issued a reminder that PrompTax sales and use tax payments must be received on or before May 25 for the April 23 to May 22 period. Taxpayers can submit their payments through: 1) ACH debit or credit by May 24; 2) Fedwire by May 25; or 3) certified check postmarked by May 23. [N.Y.
