New York Tax and Finance Department Issues Bulletin on PrompTax Sales Tax Payment Reminder

The New York Department of Taxation and Finance Oct. 20 issued a reminder that PrompTax sales and use tax payments must be received on or before Oct. 25 for the Sept. 23 to Oct. 22 period. Taxpayers can submit their payments through: 1) ACH debit or credit by Oct. 24; 2) Fedwire by Oct. 25; and 3) certified check postmarked by Oct. 23. [N.Y.
