Nix Wind Farm’s Texas Tax Break, Neighbor Tells Appeals Court

The neighbor of a wind farm asked a Texas appeals court to revive her lawsuit challenging the state comptroller’s decision to approve a $10 million tax break for the project.

A trial court dismissed Suzonne Franks suit in June, accepting Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts Glenn Hegar’s arguments that she lacked standing and her suit was barred by sovereign immunity.
