North Dakota Tax Commissioner Issues Reminder on New Eligibility Guidelines for Farm Residence Exemption

The North Dakota State Tax Commissioner Jan. 8 issued a reminder for taxpayers claiming a farm residence property tax exemption on the new eligibility guidelines. Recent legislation requires taxpayers qualifying for the exemption to complete a Farm Residence Exemption Application with their county and submit a total gross income statement. Taxpayers must complete the application by Feb. 1.
