The North Dakota State Tax Commissioner Jan. 1 issued revised guidance on property tax credits for homeowners and renters. The guidance explains the requirements for a homeowner to qualify for a reduction in the taxable value of a homestead, including that the applicant must: 1) be over 65 or disabled; 2) have income and assets below threshold levels; and 3) reside in the home.
