NYC Mayor Wants Tax Incentive to Fill Empty Offices (Correct)

New York City Mayor Eric Adams wants to create a new tax credit to convince companies to lease space in vacant office buildings, with the goal of attracting 15 large businesses to the city by the end of the year.

Adams, a Democrat, said Monday his proposed Relocation Assistance Credit for Employees would be available to out-of-state companies that sign a lease for at least 20,000 square feet of office space.
