New York City officials are finishing up a plan to reform the city’s much-denounced property tax code, with the goal of introducing legislation in the next few weeks, Tiffany Raspberry, deputy mayor for intergovernmental affairs, said Tuesday.
Raspberry made her remarks in response to questioning from state Sen. Luis Sepúlveda (D), who asked about the status of the proposal during a joint Senate and Assembly budget hearing on local governments.
