Ohio Tax Department Announces New Individual, School District Income Tax Payment Coupon

The Ohio Department of Taxation Aug. 1 announced a new state individual and school district income tax payment coupon for individual income tax purposes. The department is establishing a new Ohio Universal Payment Coupon (OUPC), beginning Sept. 5, which incorporates the IT 40P, IT40XP, IT ES, SD 40P, SD 40XP, and SD ES into one payment coupon and is applicable for all tax years. Taxpayers only need to provide the primary taxpayer information on the OUPC. The payment will be linked to the spouse on the corresponding tax return.
