Ohio Tax Department Publishes 2020 Individual Income Tax Brackets, Rates

The Ohio Department of Taxation Aug. 1 published the 2020 individual income tax brackets and rates. Taxpayers with income of $22,150 or less aren’t subject to the tax. Taxpayers with income between: 1) $22,150 and $44,250 are subject to $316.18 and 2.850 percent of excess over $22,150 tax; 2) $44,250 and $88,450 are subject to $946.03 and 3.326 percent of excess over $44,250 tax; 3) $88,450 and $110,650 are subject to $2,416.12 and 3.802 percent of excess over $88,450 tax; and 4) $110,650 and $221,300 are subject to $3,260.16 and 4.413 percent of excess over $110,650 tax.
