Ohio Tax Department Releases Revised Form IT 10, Zero Liability, No Refund Individual Income Tax Return

The Ohio Department of Taxation Dec. 1, 2023 released Form IT 10, Zero Liability / No Refund Individual Income Tax Return. The department clarifies that if a taxpayer is liable for the school district income tax, they must file the Ohio IT 1040, Individual Income Tax Return. Form IT 10 requires taxpayers to provide: 1) personal information; 2) residency status; 3) filing status; 4) an Ohio nonresident statement; and 5) reasons for filing.
