Oklahoma Legislature Establishes Rebate Program for Sales Tax on Broadband Equipment

The Oklahoma legislature passed a law issuing rebates for sales and use tax on purchases of broadband equipment used to expand broadband internet access to underserved or unserved rural areas. The rebate program will be jointly administered by the Oklahoma Broadband Office and Oklahoma Tax Commission beginning in tax year 2025. [S.B. 687, enacted 05/29/25]
