The Oklahoma Tax Commission Feb. 27 determined in a letter ruling that Taxpayer was eligible to claim the credit for Employees in the Aerospace Sector for individual income tax purposes. Taxpayer had an Aerospace Engineering degree from an accredited university and previously worked in Oklahoma City and Melbourne as a Florida resident. Taxpayer didn’t file any Oklahoma tax returns or claim the aerospace tax credit from 2004-2016. Taxpayer returned to Oklahoma in August 2022, became a resident, and inquired whether he was eligible for the credit.
