Oklahoma Tax Commission Issues Increased Sales Tax Rate for Jackson County Effective Oct. 1

The Oklahoma Tax Commission (OTC) Sept. 9 issued a September sales and use tax news release. The OTC includes: 1) Jackson County’s increased sales and use tax rates is 1.125 percent effective Oct. 1; and 2) there will be no sales and use rate changes for cities, towns, and counties effective Dec. 1.
