The Oklahoma Tax Commission (OTC) Jan. 28 issued a letter ruling on 1099 reporting for individual income tax and corporate income tax purposes. In response to Taxpayer’s inquiry concerning the filing of the 1099-Misc with Oklahoma, the OTC provided Taxpayer with a copy of the law and regulation that address the OTC’s 1099 filing requirements. The OTC noted that 1099 forms must be filed electronically unless a taxpayer participates in the Federal Combined Fed/State program. [Okla. Tax Comm’n, Letter Ruling LR 18-016, 01/28/19]
