Oklahoma Tax Commission Publishes Sales, Use, Lodging Excise Tax Rates for First Quarter 2024

The Oklahoma Tax Commission Jan. 2 published updated rates and codes for sales and use and lodging excise taxes for various cities and counties, effective January through March 2024. The sales and use tax rates increase to: 1) 4.25 percent from 3.75 percent for Chickasha, effective Jan. 1; 2) 5.25 percent from 4 percent for Wewoka, effective Jan. 1; 3) 1.25 percent from 0.75 percent for Latimer County, effective Jan. 1; 4) 4 percent from 3.4 percent for Grove, effective April 1; and 5) 4.5 percent from 3.5 percent for Skiatook, effective April 1.
