Oregon Expands Local Authority for Affordable Housing, Adds Property Tax Exemption

The Oregon Governor signed a law authorizing local governments to require affordable housing in multiunit developments and mandates that such requirements be paired with offsets, including property tax exemptions, fee reductions, or payments to developers.
