The Oregon Governor April 4 signed a law providing for counties to establish the process for handling the surplus proceeds from property tax lien foreclosure sales. The law also suspends the operation of ORS 312.200 from the effective date of the law until Dec. 31, 2025. The law takes effect 91 days after the adjournment of the 2024 regular legislative session [H.B. 4056, enacted 04/04/24]
