Oregon’s annual revenue from marijuana sales crossed the $100 million mark for the first time, reaching a record $102.1 million in FY 2019.
The state taxes sales of recreational marijuana at 17%, with some municipalities opting to collect an additional 3%. State revenue in the fiscal year ending June 30 increased 24% over FY 2018 revenue, according to state Department of Revenue figures.
