Oregon Prohibits Property Tax Exemption for Certain Urban Housing Projects

The Oregon Governor signed a law concerning housing. The law includes providing that an eligible housing project property located in an urban renewal area is prohibited from receiving the property tax exemption under Oregon Revised Statutes Section 307.227. The law takes effect on the 91st day following adjournment sine die. [H.B. 4037, enacted 04/07/26]
