Paul Hastings hired a five-partner real estate team from Latham & Watkins, onboarding a group of lawyers who represent clients on land use and environmental matters.
The hires include DJ Moore, Beth Gordie, Winston Stromberg, Benjamin Hanelin, and Lauren Paull. They are based in Los Angeles, where Paul Hastings was founded in 1951.
The group advises landowners, developers, project sponsors, and other clients seeking permits for construction and infrastructure projects and compliance with environmental laws, Paul Hastings said in a statement. Hanelin and Paull, who were counsel at Latham, will be promoted to partners at their new firm.
