Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court Affirms Denial of Petition to Set Aside Property Tax Sale

The Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court Jan. 22 affirmed a Delaware County trial court order denying appellant’s petition to set aside the tax sale of her property in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania. The Court found that although the $14,419 sale price was substantially lower than the property’s $285,000 appraised value, appellant did not show any irregularities with the sale process that contributed to the low price.
