The Pennsylvania Department of Revenue Oct. 6 announced return filing deadline extensions for corporate income, individual income, and trust income taxpayers who were affected by Hurricane Ian. The announcement includes: 1) the relief postpones various tax return filing deadlines that occurred starting on Sept. 23; 2) affected individuals who had a valid extension to file their 2021 Form PA-40, Personal Income Tax return, due to run out on Oct. 17, will now have until Feb. 15, 2023, to file; 3) the extension doesn’t apply to tax payments that were due on April 18; and 4) businesses, estates, and trusts with ...
