Pennsylvania DOR Releases Form PA-8453, Instructions, Individual Income Tax Declaration for Electronic Filing

The Pennsylvania Department of Revenue (DOR) Sept. 1 released Form PA-8453 and instructions for completing and filing the state individual income tax declaration for electronic filing. If a taxpayer elects not to use the federal self-select PIN or a return is filed without a federal return, electronic return originators, transmitters, and taxpayers filing from home computers must retain the completed and signed form and supporting documents for three years after the due date of the return or the date the return was filed electronically, whichever is later.
