Pennsylvania Governor Signs New Working Tax Credit

The Pennsylvania Governor signed the 2025-26 budget, which created the Working Pennsylvanians Tax Credit (WPTC). The new tax credit, modeled after the federal Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), provides tax relief to the state taxpayers equal to 10 percent of the federal credit.
