Pennsylvania: Philadelphia DOR Issues Information on 2023 Wage Income Tax Refunds

The Philadelphia Department of Revenue (DOR) Feb. 6 issued information on 2023 wage tax refunds, for individual income and corporate income tax purposes. Taxpayers can submit their refund request at the Philadelphia Tax Center. Salaries, wages, commissions, and other compensation earned in Philadelphia are subject to tax. Taxpayers are eligible for a refund if they are: 1) a salaried or hourly nonresident employee required to work remotely or outside the city; 2) a commissioned or salaried employee with stock options or business expenses; 3) a low-income taxpayer who qualifies for Pennsylvania tax forgiveness; or 4) a resident who paid taxes ...
